Tobias was born and raised in a small encampment of Hylians that had taken refuge in the Ikana Canyon in Termina. Prior to his birth they had been driven there due to the Gerudo's rule in Hyrule and they had been forced to forsake their sacred land. Tobias - Tobi - didn't really see it as that but, then again, there was no real connection for him with the land that his parents mourned.

From birth he had been marked with the shining mark of the Triforce of Wisdom and he had been told that it would be his duty to restore order to Hyrule, but Tobi never really took much stock in his family's claims. He read and he studied and he practically absorbed information, but it never really sunk in that he was supposed to help save his people. It was just... a story to him.

At least until his 18th birthday.

Rather abruptly Tobias was informed that he needed to 'go' and that the Goddess - whoever she was - would guide his way. He was guided back through Termina to the edge of Hyrule and from there he was told to set out on his own.

It wasn't like Tobias didn't know what he was supposed to do - he was supposed to find the other marked with Courage and together they would end the Gerudo's rule in Hyrule. But it was all just a bunch of stories and wishful thinking and believing in fairy tales wasn't going to make their lives any better. Still, he knew he could just head home and so - reluctantly - Tobias has found himself struggling to survive in Hyrule.

WEAPONS:

• Bow and Arrows: Tobi has a simple recurve bow with a quiver of about 30 arrows. He's a fairly decent shot.

MAGIC:

• Name: Illumination
  Element: Light
  Mana Cost: 10 MP
  Description: Tobi can summon forth a small orb of light that can be used to illuminate a five-foot radius around him. It also burns when touched, though the burns are mild and hardly more than first-degree. The orb can last for about 3 posts.
