TWILIGHT REALM

Noctis was born 31 years ago in the twilight realm, though time doesn't have the same meaning in a world of never-ending night. A person ages and grows older under the constant sky of darkness but it isn't the same.

Noctis never knew this and wouldn't have cared much even if he did.

The Twilight Realm had changed when Queen Midna had returned and order and stability had returned, making it once again a world of peace. After 500 years though, or the equavalency in the Twilight Realm, order was cracking. There was no rebellion and no Zant, but the current King and Queen lacked the experience that Midna had gained while in the realm of light and a general sense of unwell had started to spread throughout the kingdom.

The Twilight Mirror was not the only pathway to and from the Twilight Realm; it was simply the easiest one to use. Another was less of a pathway and more of a merging of two worlds, something that would never happen if the balance of power was kept in the realm of light. That had been destroyed when the Gerudo took over though and slowly patches of paper-thin reality began to appear about the realm.

Most were patroled, guarded, and repaired as best as the King and Queen knew how, but truly fixing the problem was beyond their understanding or capability. And it was through one of these that Noctis slipped into the Realm of Light.

He wasn't exactly prepared but Noctis wasn't worried. Night still fell in this world and he could hide in the shadows during the day.

WEAPONS:

• His own body. Noctis can turn into shadow and, in fact, must do this in order to survive during the day. He can teleport but only to places he's been before and, right now, that basically limits him to 'no where'.
