With the fall of the Hylian Royal Family, the Sheikah "vanished" as well. At least, as far as anyone on the outside knew. In reality, the Sheikah never really left. They simply did what they did best - they hid in plain sight. Making themselves appear human, the tribe that had sworn to protect the Royal Family and the princess divided themselves. Each group had a task: one would guard the "princess" while the other remained behind, waiting to rejoin with the others when the "true" Royal family returned. With this, the Sheikah became more of an underground cult, continuing their ways in the shadows and staying hidden away until the time was right.

It was into this sort of family that Zohar was born. From a young age, the boy was trained in the way of the Sheikah and was told the stories of his tribe. He was told of the Triforce wielders, and of the "princess" he was sworn to protect. Some part of Zohar was captivated by the stories his family told, and the boy soon found himself wishing that he had been a part of the tribe sent to guard the "princess". He fell in love with the princess from the stories - the reserved, calm, noble princess who ruled over her people benevolently - and he fell in love with the idea of standing by her side, ever loyal and ever faithful.

To anyone who didn't know what Zohar was, the boy seemed ordinary. Quiet, and engrossed in his books, but ordinary nonetheless. It was hard for him to keep his more radical views on the ruling Gerudo royalty hidden, so once Zohar hit seventeen, he left Kakariko and journeyed to Castle City. There, he monitored his "enemies", silently doing damage wherever he could and preparing the city for the "princess's" return. 

When whispers of the return of the Triforce bearers spread to Castle City, Zohar dropped everything and left, setting out to find the "princess" and guide her to her destiny.

WEAPONS:

• Kusarigama: Zohar uses his kusarigama to attack at both close distance and long range; the weight on one end can be thrown to disable opponents further away, while the sickle end is used to attack up close.
